We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: JISRA Data and Communications Officer

Location: Abia

Description

• Are you proficient data management to ensure quality, validity and reliability?. Do you have proven experience in creating communication materials and showcasing the findings?.
• How about proficient experience in substantial research and monitoring, training and capacity building with partner organizations. Also, are you experienced in coordinating communications, Knowledge and learning activities, then we would love to hear from you!
• This is a local national package; the candidate can be in Nigeria, Ethiopia or Iraq, applicants should have permission to work in any of the above-mentioned countries.

The successful candidate will have

• HND or Degree in Communication for Development, Media & Communication, data science or similar
• Very good level of English, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French and / or other local languages
• Extensive data analysis experience
• Have proven experience in Monitoring and Evaluation data, systems and processes in an NGO / INGO context
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to retain and refer back to large amounts of information
• Ability to communicate to a wide range of stakeholders in a diplomatic and precise way
• Excellent proposal and report writing skills
• Creativity to use data to tell a coherent story
• Good computer skills (MS Office, Google Suite)
• Experience of behaviour / norm change programming and how to measure and verify impact of such interventions
• Experience designing M&E systems
• Experience drafting communications materials for donor and / or INGO audiences
• Experience working across a range of country and global teams and different organisations
• Ability to think critically and analyse data
• Ability to triangulate data and establish the accuracy, validity and reliability
