Job Title: Director of Financial Accounting & Controls Location: VI, Lagos Reports to: CFO Direct Reports: 6 Indirect Reports: 50 -60 Key Responsibilities/ Requirements

Set the section’s goals and objectives and ensure the cascading of such to the direct reports’ individual goals
ACA, ACCA, CIMA & APA
Minimum of Eighteen (18) years of experience in audit & accounting with at least Eight (12) years in a supervisory role.
ERP experience (AX, SAP, Oracle, SUN & NAV)
Audit experience in big 4 audit firm (audit section)
Experience in all core functions of finance and accounting
Apply individual items of sector’s policies, procedures and processes and ensure adherence and implementation.
Ensure the ongoing development of the section’s employees, and guide the activities of direct reports.
Oversee the overall performance of direct reports according to communicated KPI’s.
Contribute to the achievement of the strategic objectives of the sector through performing own responsibilities and coordinating direct reports performance.
Degree in accounting, audit/risk management
