Job Title: Junior Field Service Engineer

Location: Lagos

Role Description

The eStream Networks Field Service Engineer (Jnr) position is a full-time, on-site role located in Lagos.
The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining telecommunications equipment and systems.
The Engineer must be able to troubleshoot a range of issues and, where necessary, interact with clients in a professional and confident manner.
The Field Service Engineer (Jnr) must comply with safety regulations and ensure that procedures are followed, including keeping accurate records of maintenance work done using available tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, HND or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering or a related field
Certification Requirements: CWNA, eMPM Certification, Rigger Certificate, COMPTIA N+, HSE (1). Radio Link Planning/Standard, Troubleshooting approach/Best practice Survey & Installation, Radio Configuration, Knowledge on Network Operation SOP, Earthing.
Effective communication (Oral and written), Time management, Documentation, Reporting, Analytical skills, Customer relationship management, and Logical reasoning.
Proven experience in Field Service or a related area
Knowledge of telecommunications equipment and systems
Understanding of Network Topology, Protocol, and Architecture
Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams with user manuals and maintenance instructions
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions thoroughly.
