Junior Human Resource Officer in a Food Processing Company in Lekki, Lagos

Owens & Xley Consults - Our client, a leading and award winning food processing company is currently recruiting a suitably qualified candidate to fill the position below:
   
Job Title: Junior Human Resource Officer Location: Lekki Job type: Full time
Descriptions
  • Publish jobs on job boards
  • Conduct assessments and interviews
  • Onboard new employees
  • Prepare payroll by providing relevant data, like absences, bonus and leaves
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars
  • Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
  • Complete termination paperwork and exit interviews.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practice.
  • Responsible for orienting new employees to the organization
  • Answer all employee questions about HR regulations and benefits
  • Maintain employee records (soft and hard copies)
  • Update HR databases (e.g. new hires, separations, vacation and sick leaves)
  • Researching, selecting and developing applicable job responsibilities/duties/roles for vacancy posts that relate to the food industry
Requirements
  • HND / B.Sc. in a relevant field.
  • Proven work experience (Minimum of 1 year) in a similar role
  • Proven experience with HR software
Skills:
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Team work
  • Computer literacy and experience with MS Office applications
  • Must live in Lekki Axis
Salary N60,000 - N80,000 / month
