We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Transcriber - Field Survey

Location: Ebonyi

Required Qualification

• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to read and write in any other indigenous languages spoken in Ebonyi State
• Must be a resident of the study area; that is, Ebonyi State
• A minimum of a University degree
• Four (4) years experience in translating/transcribing data from focus-group discussions.

Competencies
The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong work ethics towards handling vital information
• Must have been engaged in transcription / translation of qualitative research activities
• A minimum of a university degree
• Knowledge and background in qualitative research-based studies
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Availability, punctuality and ability to meet set deadlines

Personal Attributes:

• Ability to work independently
• Capacity to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential / sensitive information
• Initiative, organized, and flexible personality
• Capability to exercise honesty, trustworthiness and high integrity.

Job Title: Moderator - Field Survey

Location: Ebonyi
Employment Type: Contract

Required Qualification

• Ability to speak, read and write in English
• Ability to speak, read and write in the indigenous language spoken in the study area (ie: Ebonyi State)
• Must be a resident of the study area (ie: Ebonyi State)
• A minimum of a university degree (BSc)
• A minimum of five (5) years experience in moderating focus-group discussions/ interviews.

Competencies
The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong work ethics towards handling vital information and must have been engaged in moderating focus-group discussions/ interviews
• A minimum of a university degree
• Knowledge and background in qualitative and quantitative research-based studies
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Availability, punctuality and ability to meet set deadlines.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Capacity to exercise discretion in dealing with confidential / sensitive information
• Initiative, organized, and flexible personality

Job Title: Field Survey - Enumerator

Location: Ebonyi
Employment Type: Contract

Required Qualification

• Ability to read and write in English
• Ability to read and write in any other indigenous languages spoken in Ebonyi State
• Must be a resident of the survey area; that is, Ebonyi State
• A minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND)
• A minimum of five (5) years experience in data collection

Competencies
The ideal candidate must have:

• Strong work ethics towards data quality and accuracy (must have been engaged in survey or research activities)
• Knowledge and background in qualitative and quantitative survey studies
• Willingness to travel over rough terrain and work in remote locations
• Ability to navigate mobile apps and possession of an android phone
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Availability, punctuality, participation and comportment during the program
