Job Title: Measurement Engineer - HLP

Location: Warri, Delta
Department: Operations Support

Job Summary

• This HLP role supports field and office activities related to hydrocarbon measurement, meter calibration, and data assurance.
• The candidate will gain hands-on experience with flow measurement technologies, supporting production allocation and regulatory compliance.

Key Accountabilities

• Assist in the maintenance and calibration of flow meters, pressure sensors, and level gauges.
• Support metering system troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Interface with operations, instrumentation, and production accounting teams.
• Assist in maintaining measurement systems documentation and audits.
• Contribute to NUPRC reporting and metering compliance requirements.
• Validate production and injection data for daily reporting and allocation.
• Participate in well testing operations and ensure data integrity.

Qualifications

• B.Eng. in Mechanical, Electrical, or Petroleum Engineering.
• Strong documentation and analytical skills.
• Safety-conscious with willingness to work in field environments.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in field operations or measurement roles.
• COREN registration is an advantage.

Skills and Competences:

• Knowledge of relevant measurement systems
• Familiarity with SCADA and data acquisition systems
• Use of PVT and test separator data
• Technical documentation and QA/QC
• Basic instrumentation and controls knowledge.
• Calibration and uncertainty analysis
• Flow measurement and allocation concepts
