We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Metallurgical / Materials Engineer, Metallurgist

Location: Warra, Ngaski LGA, Kebbi
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

Gather and analyze data from tests experiments to support material development and process improvement.
Prepare all required documents and ensure accuracy of all data.
Provide technical support to all projects, perform root cause analysis, and assist to reduce defects.
Monitor all processes, resolve all issues and coordinate with management and external parties to reduce downtime.
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to minimize risks in handling material equipments.
Co-ordinate with unit heads, perform troubleshoot on process according to requirement.
Support the process engineer to manage and interpret data collected from various conducted experiments.
Work alongside production, design, and quality assurance teams to ensure material specifications align with project goals.

Requirements

HND / B.Sc in Material Science, Metallurgical and Material Engineering.
Fresh graduate or minimum of 1 year experience in Steel Manufacturing & Mining Industry.
Ability to quickly adapt to an Off-site location is an added advantage.
Must be available to resume immediately.
