We are recruiting to fill the positions below:   Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Short Summary of the Job
  • Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this role will be responsible for participating in IP network operation, infrastructure connectivity and security planning as well as development.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Conduct network analyzing and troubleshooting
  • Coordinate with Regional IP Registry
  • Document all network changes
  • Other task assigned by line manager.
  • Participate in IP network operation, infrastructure connectivity, security planning as well as the development
  • Support network design and implementation for core and client networks
  • Ensure all IP devices are secured and within operational limits
  • Support daily IP network operation, project management and services monitoring
Essential Skills / Knowledge
  • Experience designing last mile access solutions for different environments (DSL, microwave radio, PTP and PTP radio, fibre etc.)
  • Strong written and oral communications skills in English
  • Willing to perform work or provide support outside office hours
  • Highly motivated and resourceful
  • Must be a team player and be able to prioritize different request and requirements.
  • Hand-on design and operation of network like BGP and MPLS
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in IP Network and System Support
  • LAN/WAN technology including: TCP/IP (routers, configuration and setup), Security (firewalls – Cisco, Juniper, Barracuda), Network management (switches, hubs, fiber-optic, cabling, packet sniffing)
  • Advanced knowledge in Router, Catalyst, Load Balancer, Firewall, Security, Internet Connection, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP4, VPN, Frame Relay, TCP/IP, LAN/ WAN, VLAN, Spanning Tree, Ethereal
  • Knowledge in Unix/ Linux, Shell script, IDS, QoS, Video/ Streaming Protocols,
Desirable Skills / Knowledge:
  • Experience in liaising with Regional IP Registry (APNIC, RIPE, AfriNIC etc)
  • Knowledge of structure cabling and VoIP
  • Experience in ISP and managing a sizable IP network
Education and / or Professional Qualification:
  • Bachelors degree in Electronics / Communications / Network / Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
  • IP Certification, preferably from Cisco on CCNP level equivalent or above.
       
Job Title: Account Manager Location: Victoria Island, Lagos Department: Business Development Reports to: Head Business Development
Objective & Summary
  • Reporting to the Head, Business Development this role is responsible for generating leads, initiating and developing client relationships.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Account Management:
  • Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly and annual set target
  • Liaise with business analyst, management team and account executives to collaborate and win deals
  • Periodically conduct the Know Your Customer exercise to keep up to date with changes and activities with your clients.
  • Service existing accounts obtains orders and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential clients.
  • Manage relationship with all clients and maintain Zero churn at all time
Research and Reports:
  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
  • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity results and reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, monthly and annual activity reports.
Internal Relationship Management - liaise & collaborate with:
  • Day to day operational business solutions interface between departments
  • Legal - To ensure the aspects of contract, signing, service contracts, revisions are done.
  • Ensure SLA’s are all adhered to and all documentations are up to date.
  • Finance - On the work flow of Service Activation Requests – new deals, upgrades, demos, downgrades, modifications, change management, etc.
  • Billing - To negotiate pricing within the approved margin
Essential Skills / Knowledge
  • Good presentation skills for business reports
  • Ability to organize and conduct purposeful Departmental/ Unit meetings
  • Ability to develop and maintain business relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with both Microsoft operating system and the Apple operating system
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
Desirable Skills / Knowledge:
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Good understanding of Microsoft operating systems.
  • Able to use properly MS Word, Excel and Power-point
  • General knowledge of  ICT solutions
  • Knowledge of Nigerian Telecoms Market
Education and/or Professional Qualifications:
  • Graduate degree qualification essential.
  • Accreditation to professional bodies
Experience:
  • The ideal candidate should have not less than 5 years’ experience preferably selling technology solutions.
       
Job Title: IT Support Technician Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Job Description
  • To support and maintain internal IT architecture.  This position is also responsible for administering desktops support as well as all company servers, printers, phones, and other peripherals.
Responsibilities
  • Set-up of computer for staff.
  • Troubleshoot application and hardware issues on both user and server levels.
  • Aid in maintaining that all servers/computers/peripherals are in good working condition
  • Perform servers and other computer asset maintenance (regular and ad-hocs)
  • Maintain hardware and software updated inventory
  • Resolve all application (emails, applications, etc.) related issues
  • Participate in designing and implementation of various systems/application projects as requested by the client.
  • Configure, test, and maintain LAN/WAN equipment and related services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolves network problems.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks.
  • Provide support to network–related issues as escalated.
  • Assist in network project design and implementations.
  • Maintain and support company’s LAN/WAN environment.
  • Daily maintenance and problem resolution.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot Apple servers (Open Directory) for a middle-sized environment (less than 200 computers).
General Requirements To get this role you must possess the following:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience in providing IT support.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft, Linux and Cisco technologies.
  • Professional certifications in IT.
Technical Skills:
  • Intermediate understanding of DNS, DHCP, File sharing (with or without SAMBA)
  • Ability to support basic applications like MS Office and others
  • Advance knowledge in routing (EIGRP/OSPF) and switching (VLAN’s, STP, etc.)
  • Advanced knowledge in SNMP and other network management protocols/systems
  • Advanced knowledge in QoS principles and use of different QoS appliances
  • Able to identify network issues, propose and implement actions to resolve the problem.
  • Experienced and knowledgeable on different wireless technologies (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) design, implementation, optimization and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of wires and wireless basic networking
  • Ability to use an Apple Macintosh system
  • Ability to manage and support 1st and 2nd level issues on an Apple Macintosh system & Microsoft Windows System
  • Basic understanding of Directory Services on both Windows (Active Directory) and Macintosh (Open Directory)
  • Understanding of hardware configuration of both Apple and Windows devices is highly desirable.
