Job Title: Rigger

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are seeking experienced Riggers to work onboard a large DP3 Accommodation Vessel in Nigeria.
• This is an urgent role and we are looking for experienced Riggers with experience on large vessels over 7000GRT.

Requirements
Crew must have:

• Trade Certificate
• Valid Medical and Yellow Fever
• BOSIET / HUET
• Passport
• Seaman's Book
• Valid STCW.

Remuneration
The day rate for this role is very attractive.

 

 

Job Title: Mechanic

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We are recruiting for Mechanics to join a DP3 Pipelay Accommodation Vessel in Nigeria.
• You must have worked on vessels greater than 5000 GRT.
• You must have worked on DP Vessels also.

Requirements
You must have:

• STCW Medical Cert
• BOSIET / FOET / HUET (Huet Must have BST/ STCW's)
• Passport
• Seamans Book

Job Title: Vessel Admin Officer

Job Title: DPO / 2nd Officer

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• We urgently require an experienced Nigeria National for DPO/2nd Officer.

Purpose of Role

• The 2nd Officer DPO will act as DP Watchkeeper and Navigation Officer.

Reporting Relationships:

• The 2nd Officer DPO reports directly to the Chief Officer / Vessel Master.

Operational Roles and Responsibilities

• The 2nd Officer DPO has the following prime operational responsibilities as assigned.

The 2nd Officer DPO shall be measured against the following criteria:

• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• The ability to lead and manage a vessel team.
• The ability to effectively work with and support the interface relationship between marine and project personnel.
• Able to communicate effectively and articulately at all levels.
• Experience in maritime activities.
• An awareness of international Codes Standards and Specifications.

 

 

Job Title: Able - Bodied Seaman

Location: Lagos

Job Description

• SILL is currently seeking an AB for a large DP3 Accommodation vessel working in Nigeria. This is a long-term position and offering an industry-competitive enumeration rate per day.
• The correct candidate must have previous offshore experience on large vessels, preferably above 7000GT.

Job Title: 3rd Engineer

Location: Lagos
Start Date: Estimated at the 1st of July, 2021

Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced 3rd Engineer to work onboard a DP3 Accommodation vessel in Nigeria.
• This is a long-term position and will provide you with a 6 week on/off rotation
• Experience on large DP vessels - above 8000GT is a must.

Job Title: Safety Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description
SILL is looking for a Safety Officer to join a DP3 Accommodation Vessel in Nigeria on a 12hrs rotation.

• This role is due to start next month.
• You must have worked in the capacity of a Safety Officer previously and must have helicopter refueling experience.
• Candidates without helicopter refueling experience will not be considered.

You Must also Have:

• BST / STCW’s
• SSO / OPB Certificate
• STCW Medical
• BOSIET or FOET or HUET (HUET only with BST)
• Passport
• Seamans Book Stamps and Front Page
• Yellow Fever
• HLO
• OHERTL /HERTL
• GAS Tester
• Ships Safety Officer Certificate. If the crew does not have a Safety Officer Certificate they MUST have an Engineering / Deck Officer COC.

 

 

Job Title: Electrician

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• SILL is looking for an Electrician to join a DP3 Accommodation Vessel in Nigeria. You must also have heavy DP vessel experience (10000 GRT+).

• Certificate of Competency
• National Endorsement
• Flag State Endorsement
• High Voltage
• DP Maintenance
• BST/ STCW's
• Security Awareness / DSD
• STCW Medical
• BOSIET or FOET or HUET (HUET only with BST)
• Passport (2 empty pages)
• Seamans Book
• Yellow Fever

Work Experience Requirements:

• All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships or oil rigs.

Certificates and Qualifications:

• Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.

Language Requirements:
