Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Source for reliable vendors or suppliers to provide quality goods at reasonable prices.
• Updating supplier database & material category price list
• Receive and review invoices for any inconsistencies and variances
• Ensures that the right quality of raw materials needed for production are available at the right time at all times.
• Preparing Payment requests for delivered Goods or services.
• Review and approve suppliers LPOs for materials needed and ensures they are delivered in a timely manner.
• Ensuring that all Supplies, services, and equipment required are delivered on time.
• Establishment and maintenance of ethical, professional working relationships with suppliers
• Updating supplier database & material category price list
• Creating Payment requests files and submit to finance
• Ensures that weekly reports are collated from the branches and reports critical stock positions in the region and sent to Head Supply Chain.
• Manage customer service requests and prompt resolution of material related issues.
• Any other duties or tasks delegated by Procurement Manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree qualification.
• 3 - 5 years Experience.
