Neveah Limited is a lading commodities trading company located in Abuja, Nigeria which deals in Base Metals, Minor Metals and Agro Commodities.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Officer for Solid Minerals

Locations: Ebonyi, Benue, Nasarawa and Taraba
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Procuring and Expediting of all minerals of interest and related purchases for Neveah Limited in Ebonyi, Benue, Taraba, Nasarawa State.
• All purchases need to be best Price, Quality and Performance
• Source and generate database of new suppliers for Lead, Ore and other related Minerals of interest to the Company.
• Conduct an audit and prepare financial analysis and delivery turnaround time for every supplier
• To handle records and information for the procurement of materials, products or services in the organisation
• Build and maintain good working relationships with existing and potential suppliers
• Use creative international and local sourcing strategies using all available resources
• Assist when required on materials and services contract administration.
• Send daily procurement reports, suppliers accounts, expense reports and shipment report.
• Work closely with the Fleet & Logistics Unit to ensure accurate shipment of supplies
• Generate and send to suppliers purchase orders for supplies, services and equipment required by the business
• Keep abreast of all contract analysis trends, trends in pricing and current product and supply news
• Ensure prompt delivery of products by suppliers

Educational Qualification and Experience Requirement

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc in any field of Supply Chain (Procurement Management or related field)
• Minimum of 3 years’ work experience as in Supply Chain of solid Minerals
• Available to resume as soon as possible.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite Packages

Required Competencies:

• General business knowledge
• Work experience in Procurement of solid Mineral (minimum of 3years)
• Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills and the ability to work effectively with different personalities and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to travel within short notice
• Good interpersonal, organizational and time management skills.
• Conscientious and efficient in meeting commitments, observing deadlines, and achieving results.
• Integrity and transparency in dealing with Suppliers and other individuals that you may come in contact with while carrying out your duties.
• Proactive, Adaptable and Flexible
• Outstanding critical thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.

Salary
N150,000 / Month.
