Job Title: Product Designer 

Location: Abuja (FCT) and Oyo

Job Description

• We are looking for a Product Designer, who has a keen eye for user-centered design and a knack for transforming complex health solutions into intuitive, user-friendly experiences. 
• The ideal applicant will be committed to the culture of teamwork and consensus-building. You will be in charge of the design process with a deep understanding of user needs, ensuring that our solutions prioritize usability and user satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Define, prepare, maintain, and promote the product roadmap which defines product enhancements for short and long-term releases based on business opportunities and by conducting primary and secondary market research.
• Client and User Engagement regularly via multiple channels, gathering feedback.
• Develop internal and external product training plans.
• Design incredibly simple/neat design flows & lead the design process, from mockups, user flows, and prototypes to final designs for products.
• Conduct customer interviews and usability testing, running design sprints, and participating in feature prioritization to gather insights and validate design decisions.
• Conduct thorough customer experience analysis, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement to enhance overall product satisfaction.
• Specify and prioritize market and product requirements, feature sets, and key positioning and messaging elements in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborating with designers and engineers to solve problems.
• Analyze external and internal data to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Define KPIs and set targets that move the team toward success.

Qualification and Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Product Design, or a related field. (A postgraduate qualification is an added advantage.)
• A minimum of three(3) years of experience in Product Design, ideally with a deep understanding of the Tech industry and a strong portfolio of works.
• Ability to work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to brainstorm, ideate, and contribute to the product roadmap with creative design solutions.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools to create mockups and interactive prototypes.
• Basic knowledge of web development platforms, databases and infrastructure.
• Basic project management skills to understand project plans and aid in communication with others are beneficial.
• Proven success defining, launching, and maintaining excellent products.
• In-depth knowledge of market trends, competition, and user needs through continuous research and analysis.
