Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to oversee our processing operations.
• The ideal candidate will report to the Production Manager and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe production of high-quality products while maintaining compliance with industry standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Train production staff to enhance their skills, efficiency, and understanding of best practices.
• Monitor raw materials inventories and collaborate with the procurement team to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Maintain accurate production records, prepare reports, and communicate with the Production manager on production status.
• Develop and execute production schedules, taking into consideration inventory levels and customer demands.
• Enforce strict quality control measures to guarantee the production of premium-grade products that meet industry standards.
• Enforce and promote a culture of safety within the production environment complying with relevant safety regulations and protocols.
• Oversee routine maintenance of production equipment to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science/Technology or a related field with 3-5 years experience.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach
• Proven experience in production supervision within the food processing industry.
• Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in a production environment.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
