Job Title: Production Technologist

Locations: Lagos and Port Harcourt - Rivers
Job Type: Full time

Key Responsibilities

Ensuring the required materials are available for production, and that the factory is safe for all workers.
Analyzing performance and products, then making suitable recommendations.
Scheduling training sessions and refresher workshops as required.
Establishing high-quality standards and ensuring they are implemented by workers.
Identify potential risks in production processes and implement mitigation strategies.
Conduct regular risk assessments and take proactive measures to ensure the safety of the production environment
Inspecting machinery and reporting any faults to management and workers.
Identifying faults and troubleshooting wherever possible.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement technological advancements in production processes.
Regularly educating staff members on health and safety regulations.
Implementing preventative maintenance methods.
Staying up-to-date with efficient methods of production and equipment maintenance procedures.

Qualifications
Person Specification:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
10 to 15 years of experience as a Production Technologist.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring capabilities.
Knowledge of production required.
Ability to provide training.
Problem-solving skills.
Analytical thinking skills.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities (KSA)

Capability to manage and lead engineering projects.
Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, industry trends, and technological advancements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Creativity and out of the box thinking.
