Program Assistant at Loofball Sport Development Initiative

Loofball Sport Development Initiative, popularly known as LSD Initiative, was incorporated in 2019 as a nonprofit and non-governmental organization, in accordance with the provisions of Part C of the Companies and Allied Matters Act CAP C20 - Laws of the Federation of Nigeria (2004). The organization has its origin in the Loofball Coaching Team, a voluntary and community group, which was formed in late 2017.

The Loofball Coaching Team, led by Engr. Winner Vidiyeno Matahula, was involved in propagating the then new game of loofball, a rising indigenous sport, by coaching kids and organizing outdoor competitions. In a bid to further develop and enhance the game, the LSD Initiative was established on the advice of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports and tasked with the responsibility of conducting, advancing and administering Loofball across Nigeria as well as facilitating its growth in Africa and world at large.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description

• Assist with drafting program schedules and managing programs and events.
• Assist with marketing and business development efforts of LSD Initiative.
• Write news articles for publication on LSD Initiative’s website or other websites.
• Write content for posting on social media platforms.

Minimum Requirement

• National Diploma in any relevant discipline.
