Job Title: Project Officer

Location: Lagos

About the Job

  • We are seeking to hire a highly professional and optimistic Project Officer with a high level of integrity who must have a demonstratable passion for improving the lives of vulnerable and underserved groups with the ability to hit the ground running

Responsibilities / Duties

  • Relationship building and stakeholder management
  • Team and talent management, performance management, team building & development
  • Project management, program design and delivery
  • New business development and resource mobilization
  • Business optimisation, brand representation, brand growth

Requirements

  • Candidate should possess a good First Degree in any discipline
  • Experience in Public Health
  • Proactive attitude in terms of planning and coordination with different bodies, institutions

  • Good leadership skills
  • Understanding of community structures and how they influence/impact the roll-out of interventions and use of interventions
  • Good grasp of inter-connectedness of the social sector and Human Capital Development
  • Strong managerial, organisational and coordination skills
  • Strong report writing skills and experience
  • Target-oriented and problem-solving
  • Positive ability to bear stressful and complicated situations
  • Confident/Strong networking and relationship-building skills: Establish and maintain positive working
  • relationships with others, both internally and externally, to achieve the organisation's mission.
  • Creativity/innovation: Suggest/develop new and unique ways to improve the operations of the organisation and to create new opportunities.
  • Organise: Set priorities, develop a work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information and activities.
  • Proficiency in the use of office tools - MS Word, MS PowerPoint and MS Excel
  • Budget and financial management experience
  • Strong presentation and Capacity building experience
  • Demonstrated project cycle management skills, inclusive of work plan/timeline/deliverables/budget tracking and course correction
  • Experience with M&E systems in programmes
  • Politically and culturally sensitive with qualities of patience, tact, confidentiality and diplomacy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
