Seqher Initiative was founded by four (4) activists who share a passion for humanitarian work and love for the community.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Psychologist

Location: Borno
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychosocial assessments and provide individual and group counselling sessions for key population members.
• Develop and implement psychosocial support programs tailored to the unique needs of key populations.
• Provide training and capacity-building sessions on mental health topics within the organization and the community.
• Conduct research and evaluations to assess the impact of psychosocial interventions on key population members' well-being.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and community leaders, to promote mental health awareness and access to services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.
• Proven experience in providing psychosocial support and counselling to diverse populations, preferably within an NGO or community-based setting.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural and inclusive environment.
• Strong understanding of mental health issues facing key populations and familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches.
