Quality Officer at Caverton Helicopters Limited

Caverton Helicopters Limited was established in September 2002 as a charter, shuttle and maintenance company. It was initially set up to bridge the gap in the onshore helicopter service sector. Since then, Caverton Helicopters has made strides into  the offshore support (oil and gas) industry by providing logistics support to the major players.

We are recruiting to fill the positio below:

Job Title: Quality Officer

Location: Lagos
Job type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• To ensure that all correspondences with the Authority and other external bodies are tracked
• To ensure that all Quality documentations are properly filled.
• Participate in scheduled audits, both internal and external.
• Ensuring that reports in the PRISM system receive prompt attention and that CARS are completed in a timely fashion within the allocated period.
• To maintain records of all quality activities.
• Coordinate follow-up actions on all external and internal audits conducted by the department.
• Carry out routine inspections as requested by the Quality Manager.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a University Degree in Sciences or other related disciplines
• A minimum of one year of experience within aviation activities.
• A good knowledge of the relevant aviation regulations and Quality Management System.
• Honesty, managing, organizing, initiative, judgment, tact, and the ability to maintain harmonious working relationships.
• An oral and written communication skill in English and French is an added advantage.
• Must have completed training in quality management recognized by the Authority.
• Ensure that effective reporting is carried out in a timely manner and that full use is made of the PRISM reporting system for recording purposes.
