Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a young, motivated and driven Quantity Surveyor to join our team of construction professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze project costings for tenders, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Track variations and change orders; prepare related documentation for client and subcontractor agreements.
• Prepare interim and final project valuations and reports.
• Manage project risk and ensure compliance with Nigerian building regulations and contractual conditions.
• Provide input into value engineering and project optimization strategies.
• Prepare and review bills of quantities (BOQs) and other tender documents.
• Conduct feasibility studies, cost control, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Monitor project budgets and ensure financial efficiency throughout project phases.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to provide accurate financial advice and progress reports.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Candidate must be resident in Abuja
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in the construction industrypost NYSC.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and QS software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or CostX.
