Job Title: Inventory Officer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities

  • Receiving and carrying out conformity check on material supplies and subsequently supervise the offloading and put away process, of materials,or consignment for easy access and identification.
  • Ensuring the right materials, in the right quantity as indicated on approved MRF are picked, packed, released and shipped to production line and client locations.
  • Keep record of receipts as well as issuance of items in and out of the warehouse to ensure accuracy and completeness and maintain the same on available inventory systems.
  • Keep warehouse productivity at per with best practice by ensuring obsolete and damaged record and report is accurate and timely for proper inventory procedure.
  • Carrying out physical reconciliation of stock with the book and system record with warehousing service provider and finance.
  • Overseeing the arrangement of materials is done in an orderly manner within the stock location system in place to ensure easy storage and retrieval whenever there is a requirement.
  • Ensuring that materials are physically protected, within the warehouse and when loaded for deliveries to production lines and client’s sites.
  • Conducting weekly stock count and confirm the periodic stock on a regular basis by working closely with warehouse service provider and, designated team members.
  • Working with supply chain and finance team members to keep expenses related to consumables, labour, storage, and repairs at best possible minimum cost.

Requirements

  • BSc / HND in Accounting, Business Administration, Engineering or relevant field.
  • You'll be a good fit for this role if you have experience with: 2 years work experience as a store keeper, inventory officer or similar role in an Engineering or Telecommunication industry.
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management system (WMS), and other Inventory management systems i.e. Zoho inventory and quickbooks.
  • Solid organizational skills with good work ethic and integrity.

Job Title: Sales Engineer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

  • The Sales Engineer will identify and develop sales opportunities within a region/country to meet their set business targets. The individual will support new or existing end users, distributors and/or agents in their sales enquires and to develop market share within their designated region.

Performance Objectives and Responsibilities

  • This role will provide sales support to existing customers on orders.
  • Develop new customers and key accounts, ensure order collection is processed professionally.
  • Support Finance with payment collection.
  • Update line managers on order status using CRM system (Caesar).
  • Meet sales targets assigned by Line Manager and develop competence in ESAB product range.

Sales Engineer role will entail the following:

  • Plan and schedule customer visits.
  • Sell orders to customers.
  • Ensure complete documentation of the orders.
  • Follow up on order status with customers,
  • Provide feedback to ESAB on customer issues,
  • Liaise with technical department as and when required to support customer’s needs.
  • Ensure sales reports is up-to-date for monthly and weekly meetings including forecasting reports and to be well equipped with understanding of ESAB Products and processes.
  • Key interfaces will include local distributors, agents, end users and Product Manager/s.
  • Each employee has a responsibility to ensure that ESAB is a safe place to work and comply with the EHS policy / processes

Job Requirements
Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering discipline / background.

Experience Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years in Welding & Cutting Industry or related industry segments like tools, equipment, abrasives, etc.
  • Good knowledge about the welding, equipment and tools distributors in the region.
  • Good knowledge about the fabrication workshops, mining, cement & sugar industry (focus customers).
  • Technical sales background at correlative companies.

Technical Requirements:

  • A self-motivated, commercially focused candidate with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to think strategically are essential.
  • Strong financial skills with the ability to analyze potential development opportunities and trends are essential.
  • A valid local driving license is essential.

Language Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills in English is required and any additional local language skills would be an advantage especially French.
