Resource Mobilization Advisor at Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation

Widows and Orphans Empowerment Organisation (WEWE) is a not – for – profit, Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) that was founded in 2004 by Josephine Ogazi and Joseph Egwuonwu. WEWE started out as a Community Based Organisation (CBO) with the aim of providing scholarships and economic empowerment to orphans and widows in Okigwe, Imo State and has since expanded its aims and objectives.

WEWE is registered as a national NGO with CAC under incorporated trustees and its registration number is CAC/IT/NO33132.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Resource Mobilization Advisor

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Position Summary

• The Resource Mobilization Advisor will provide capacity building support in the area of resource mobilization for local Civil Society Organizations, conduct capacity assessments, develop and implement resource mobilization plans for each Organizations

Key Duties and Responsibilities
The Resource Mobilization Advisor will be responsible for:

• Conducting resource mobilization assessments which will review the following domains;
• Resource mobilization structure of the organization
• Conduct resource mobilization traditionally and online crowdfunding
• Conduct online social media strategy and content development.
• Assess the ability of the organization to develop a full-detailed proposal in resource mobilization.
• Ability to conduct resource mobilization planning
• Ability to engage and manage resource mobilization personnel
• Ability to track and have supervising roles for resource mobilization personnel

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in public health, finance, business, public administration, international relations or any other related field.
• Proven record of mobilizing resources in private and public sectors.
• Ability to travel when required.
• Minimum of seven (7) years of proven, hands-on working experience in fundraising, resource mobilization and project development.

Requirements:

• Have Knowledge and skilled in proposal writing.
• Have knowledge on the theory of change and value for money.
• Carry out other activities that will be assigned by the supervisor.
