The hotel is ideal for business travellers as all guests have access to free wi-fi, a self-service business centre and 4 conference rooms available for professional events or meetings. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport. The hotel offers its guests access to a gym, outdoor pool, 2 bars and a full service restaurant which offers all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast and dinner.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales & Marketing Manager

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Duties and Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all group, transient, and catering/banquet sales activities to maximize revenue for the hotel
• Prepare, implement and compile data for the strategic sales plan, monthly reporting, annual goals, sales and marketing budget, forecasts and other reports as directed/required
• Manage/direct all advertising, public relations and promotional
• Actively participates in sales presentations, property tours and customer meetings
• Manages performance issues that arise within the Sales and Reservations teams
• Effectively communicates with other departments
• Conducts a daily briefing with department on current key activities.
• Anticipate and address guest issues and establish proactive processes to promote guest satisfaction
• Survey, review and analyze competition, market trends, customer needs and comments in order to be proactive and adapt with business intelligence
• Develops new plans and programs and determine the effectiveness of current plans and programs

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Sales & Markeing Manager in an international Chain Hotel will be an added advantage.
• Must have knowledge of OPERA PMS.
