SEEPCO participated in the 2005 bid round held by Department of Petroleum Resoucres (DPR) and was successful with license OML 143 (formerly OPL 280). We are a global energy group investing in downstream activities in the oil and gas industry. Operations involving refining, distribution, and marketing of petroleum products.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Senior Industrial Relations Manager

Location: Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom (Onsite)
Job Type: Open Contract

Responsibilities

• As a Senior Industrial Relations Manager, you will play a key role in shaping our labor relations strategy.

Primary Duties

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Drive the development, implementation, and review of industrial relations policies, offering expertise in interpretation and application.
• Lead efforts to ensure the organization's compliance with local, national, and international labour laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Address and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance on disciplinary actions, grievance procedures, and dispute resolution.
• Lead negotiations in collective bargaining, working closely with union/community representatives to achieve agreements that align with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Relations, Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in industrial relations within the oil and gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of local and international labor laws and regulations.
• Proven success in collective bargaining and dispute resolution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
