Details

• We are looking for an experienced Software Tester to join our team for challenging projects.
• You will be responsible for creating manual and automation test scripts, working in a distributed team, and providing activities to assure the quality of projects being developed.
• To succeed in this role, you need to be very detail-oriented, have a solid background in web software testing, and possess great communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct requirements analysis to detect issues as early as possible in the software development life cycle
• Design, develop and execute test plans according to business requirements
• Provide comprehensive and concise test results
• Collaborate closely with the Development and Business Analysis teams
• Consistently contribute to improvements in terms of processes and technologies
• Create and execute manual test cases as well as automation test scripts to provide the maximum coverage
• Report and verify bugs as part of new features testing and regression testing

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. or HND. in Computer Science, Engineering or related fields.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance / Software Testing specialist
• Extensive experience in web applications testing via the web browser and API interfaces
• A track record of performing testing activities through the full test life-cycle
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and report the risks and issues in a timely manner
• Ability to work individually as well as in a team
• Strong analytical skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Competency in working with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Selenium)
• Experience in using test management and bug tracking tools (e.g. HP Quality Center, JIRA, Bugzilla will be a plus)
• Good experience with performance, stress, and load testing.
• Expertise in software testing fundamentals and test techniques (ISTQB certificate would be a plus)
