Founded by Chef Rejoice Chukwuma (Chef Rej), we serve a fast-growing community of urban professionals and food lovers who crave quality without compromise. Operating from two state-of-the-art dark kitchens in Sholanke, Akoka and Lekki Phase 1, we ensure speed, freshness, and consistent quality across Lagos. Our menu features signature dishes like Shredded Chicken Pasta and Ata Din Din Wings, as well as seasonal and event menus. Currently serving Lagos, we plan to expand to two major cities within the next six months, building the future of African food experiences one plate at a time.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sous Chef

Locations: Yaba (Male) and Lekki (Female) - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Description

• This is a full-time role for a Sous Chef, located on-site in Nigeria. The Sous Chef will assist the head chef in daily kitchen operations, including preparing ingredients, cooking dishes, and overseeing kitchen staff.
• Additional responsibilities include maintaining kitchen cleanliness, ensuring food safety standards are met, and managing inventory and supplies.
• The Sous Chef will also contribute to menu development and special event planning.

Qualifications

• Skills in preparing ingredients, cooking, and overseeing kitchen staff
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills
• Formal culinary education and experience in a similar role
• Ability to lead prep chefs & assistants
• Team player with leadership drive.
• Experience in maintaining kitchen cleanliness and ensuring food safety standards
• Ability to manage inventory and supplies
• Creativity in contributing to menu development and event planning
