We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Supervisor - Management Accounts (Inventory and Stock Control)

Location: Lagos

Key Responsibilities
Supervise all activities of the Stock Control Unit:

  • Stock GL/sub-ledger reconciliation
  • Monitor all Daily stock reconciliation, troubleshoot variances for
  • Supervise all activities and ensure adherence to timeline on all Inventory deliverables.
  • Processing of claims for stock losses/damages
  • Ad-hoc discrepancy anomaly report investigation and monitoring of all processed stock adjustments.
  • Faulty and expiring stock management
  • Stock provisions
  • Destruction of obsolete stock
  • Monitor all inventory control processes and documentation
  • Monitoring of stock in special locations (Claims. Transit, Anomaly)
  • Monthly (Lagos) and quarterly (Upcountry) stock taking exercise

Animal milk & ISO-CON operation:

  • Implementation and review of stock and waste management policy
  • Management and reconciliation of Goods In Transit (PORT location)
  • Investigation, follow up and resolution of purchase order related issues
  • Posting of purchase accrual adjustments
  • Reconcile stock balances and provisions with MGT accounts
  • Monitor all Inventory control processes and ensure proper documentation.
  • Ownership and reconciliation of purchase accrual accounts (Excluding TMC)

 Analysis of Non-Standard cost of sale accounts:

  • BOM analysis
  • Variance investigation and analysis by SKU
  • FIFO cost Tracking, investigation and analyzing of Material Unit cost
  • Cost of sale data support for naked margin analysis
  • Preparation and Presentation of Month End Non-Standard Cost of Sales report
  • Adjustment analysis and establishment of communication line for process improvement.

Business Partnership:

  • Provide data analysis and support for Logistics & Production
  • Monthly inventory flash Reporting
  • Monthly Non-Standard cost of sales flash
  • Group insurance analysis support
  • Ad-hoc analysis

Requirements

  • HND / B.Sc or its Equivalent in Management Sciences,
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar capacity
  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a structured organization.
  • Professional Qualification: ACA / ACCA/ ICAN Professional Stage (Final)
  • Sound Knowledge of the Nigerian Accounting Standard & IFRS

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Ability to use Excel, Word and PowerPoint applications with strong affinity for Data Analysis
  • Good Presentation Skills together with an ability to keep facts simple.
