Job Title: UI Designer

Role Overview

• As a UI Designer, you will be at the forefront of our product development process, transforming complex ideas into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user interfaces.
• You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure our solutions are not only functional but also delightful to use.

Key Responsibilities

• Design user interfaces for web and mobile applications that align with Prune Payments’ brand and product goals.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Work closely with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs and maintain design integrity throughout the development process.
• Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback and data.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure our interfaces are cutting-edge.
• Collaborate with UX designers to implement user feedback and refine designs for an optimal experience.
• Develop and maintain a consistent design system, including UI components, typography, color schemes, and iconography.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in UI design, with a strong portfolio showcasing web and mobile projects.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar software.
• Strong understanding of responsive design, accessibility standards, and platform guidelines (iOS, Android, and web).
• Basic knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with developers.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and justify design decisions.
• Bonus: Familiarity with motion design or prototyping tools like Principle, After Effects, or Framer.
• Excellent visual design skills, including layout, typography, and color theory.
• Experience working within design systems and creating reusable UI components.

Salary

• N500,000 - N800,000 monthly.
