Job Title: Freight Forwarder Operations Manager

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Effective monitoring of operational freight forwarding activities across our of f i ces nationwide by providing .
• Daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reports (To be submitted to the Country Manager) of freight forwarding activities nationwide .
• Ensure process improvement to achieve operational excellence.
• Achieve KPIs seamlessly.
• Training and development of team members for career growth.
• Provide input / suggestions into new processes that can be utilised with the power of technology to differentiate Operations from the rest of the market.
• Ensures licenses are extended across all operating terminals / shipping lines and be able to transact with a host of relevant vendors within the logistics and supply chain industry.
• Ensure TOTAL team ownership of operational task and responsibilities
• Working hand in hand with teams across the organisation for excellent service delivery
• Streamlining process and managing trucking, barging and rail operations for effective inland logistics operations.

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates should possess Bachelor's degree
• Must have 8-15 years work experience.

Job Title: Freight Forwarder Supervisor

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for requests for the shipping line local charges and Freight invoices.
• Responsible for liaising with the account department, picking up cash and paying to shipping lines.
• Pick up OBL or Telex release depending on the request of the client.
• Forwarding received BL to Client or rather issuing it out to the sales team or those responsible for it.
• Updating all these processes online.
• Responsible for letter of authority form Terminals.
• Responsible for Operations related errands such as errands to shipping lines and agencies, government bodies.
• Responsible for Operations needed procurement such as Waybill and Seals etc.
• Other operational duties assigned by the operations manager work related.
• Follow up with truck drivers for updates on their current location and share the same with appropriate internal stakeholders. This update must be shared at least twice a day (Morning, 8am and Evening, 6pm)

Requirements

• Candidates should possess First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC).
• Must have 10-15 years work experience.

Job Title: Logistics Coordinator (Trucker)

Locations: Rivers (Port Harcourt), Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Supply and Management of truckers End to End on export and import Transactions
• Draft SLA (service level agreement ) with truck vendors
• Ensure trucks are positioned for Stuffing/Loading
• Provide Cost efficient strategy when onboarding vendors
• When onboarding and during transactions

Qualification and Experience

• Candidates should possess Bachelor's Degree / HND qualification
• Must have 5-15 years work experience.
