Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• To perform the designated duties of warehouse manager that will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming and outgoing stocks and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, managing, organizing and retrieving stocks and orders.
• Coordinate and monitor the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods
• Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met
• Have a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these
• Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stocks are in good condition and stored safely
• Oversee the planned maintenance of the event hall equipment
• Where appropriate, oversee the maintenance and operation of the warehouse
• Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary
• Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate
• Plan future capacity requirements
• Assert the warehouse security, as well as security of items and preventing theft.
• Manage the reception of goods that will be stored in the warehouse.
• Sort the items placing them in the appropriate and safe locations, considering temperature, size, weight, available space, and light exposure

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any related field

Experience:

• 3-5 years of warehouse manager experience

Competencies:

• Highly motivated and good negotiation skills
• Proficiency in computer and MS Office applications
• Physically and mentally fit for the job
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple stocks
• Effective and Efficient communication both oral and written English
• Attention to detail and interpersonal skills
