Job Title: Website Developer

Location: Lagos

About the Role

• We are seeking a passionate and experienced Website Developer with a broad development skillset to join our team and take ownership of our website user experience, marketing automation, online sales process, and ongoing engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the development and continued improvement of our websites, including UX, navigation, site search, site speed, mobile experience, and security
• Creating and maintaining an ongoing project roadmap for the web, partnering closely with key stakeholders
• Performing cross-browser compatibility tests and iterate to work through bugs, collaborating with marketing team to bridge the gap between graphic design and technical implementation in order to complete projects, websites, platforms and other web experiences
• Work with the wider team on development and hands-on execution of automated email marketing programs in various email systems, including HubSpot
• Monitor, analyse, and report on website performance metrics and KPIs, providing insights and recommendations to improve performance
• Developing and executing enhancements on our websites on the Magento and WordPress platforms
• Developing and executing strategic site merchandising that drives conversion rate.
• Driving continued improvement through A/B testing

About You

• 3-5+ years' experience of demonstrated website development in an eCommerce environment
• Hands on and up-to-date experience with modern web applications, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP and MySQL
• Demonstrated understanding of lifecycle marketing strategy, execution, and optimization, in data-driven, customer-centric environments
• Experience working with Google Analytics and Google Data Studio
• A strong communicator, determined problem solver, and creative strategist with a focus on the details
• Ability to work on multiple projects with different objectives simultaneously, collaborating with a variety of stakeholders
• In-depth understanding of WordPress site development and Magento core software and its functions at the code level. Magento certification would be advantageous but not essential
• Experience with marketing automation tools and integration (HubSpot experience an advantage)
• The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, enthusiastic about creating excellent customer experiences and ultimately increasing sales/leads, with a proven record in effectively optimizing eCommerce and lead generation website performance.
