Adult Education Teacher Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of an Adult Education Teacher:

Bachelor’s degree in Education
Previous working experience as an adult education teacher.
Knowledge of adult learner and alternative educational methods and have the ability to apply these methods for adult
Ability to build a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and appropriate to the maturity and interests of students.
Must be computer literate
Ability to use a variety of audio-visual equipment
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and through correct written grammar and usage.
Team-player who can collaborate with colleagues.
Possess excellent communication and organisational skills
