Bingham University located in Karu, 25 kilometers from the Federal Capital city of Nigeria Abuja, was established in 2005 by the Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) as a Conventional University. It is one of the six private universities in the north and the only one established by a Christian organization.

The main purpose of ECWA was to meet the daring need for high-quality Secular Education which recognizes and integrates the moral and spiritual values on which the Christian faith is founded as well as focuses on entrepreneurial studies in order to promote self-reliance among graduates of the University.

Job Title: Senior Lecturer

Department: Medical Laboratory Science

Requirements

• Interested applicants must possess a good honours Degree, Master's and Ph.D. in the relevant discipline from a recognized University and with at least eight (8) years of teaching and research at University level.
• To be appointable, the candidate must show evidence of eight (8) scholarly publications in reputable journals and must be able to demonstrate potentials for academic leadership.

Job Summary
We are recruiting Lecturers in the following departments:

Requirements
Interested applicants for the position should note the following:

• Interested applicants must possess a PhD with at least three (3) years of experience in teaching at the university level or a Master's Degree with five (5) years of teaching experience in addition to being enrolled on a PhD programme.
• The candidate must show evidence of four (4) scholarly publications for Master's Degree holders.

 

 

Job Title: Professor

Location: Karu, Nasarawa
Faculty: Law

Requirements

• Interested applicants must possess a good honours Degree, Masters and Ph.D. in the relevant discipline and with at least twelve (12) years of continuous teaching and research at the University level.
• Applicants must show evidence of scholarship and track record of outstanding research with a minimum of fifteen (15) scholarly publications in reputable journals. Registration with Professional Body is required.
• To be appointed, the candidate is expected to demonstrate evidence of academic leadership, capacity to develop the field/discipline in the department, ability for collaborative and multidisciplinary research and ability to supervise postgraduate students in the field.

 

 

Job Title: Bursar

Location: Karu, Nasarawa

The Job

• The Bursar shall be the Chief Financial Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration and control of the financial affairs of the University.

Requirements
Candidates applying for the position of Bursar must possess the following:

• A good honours Degree / Higher National Diploma in Accounting and membership of a professional body such as ICAN / ANAN / ACCA / ACMA.
• At least 10 years relevant working experience in a recognized University or similar institution of higher education, and must have attained the rank of a Deputy Bursar.
• Sufficient knowledge ofICT is required.
• Publications in acceptable Journal and a Master’s Degree are added advantage.

Conditions of Service

• The appointment for the post of Bursar will be for a single term of five years only.
• The conditions of service would be as applicable in the Nigerian University system and as determined by Council from time to time.
• The applicant must not be more than 55 years of age at the time of application.
