REQUIREMENTS FOR:

ACADEMIC STAFF

Professors:  A possession of Ph. D. Degree in the relevant discipline with evidence of academic leadership in terms of publications, research and development (R & D) and administrative experiences. In addition, candidates must have at least 12 years of cognate experience in Full Time teaching and research.

Associate Professors: Same as Professors, but with at least 10 years cognate experience

Senior Lecturers: Same as Professors, but with at least 7 years cognate experience and must have attained a Lecturer 1 position from a recognized University.

Lecturer I: Same as Professors, but with at least 4 years cognate experience.

Lecturer II: A possession of Ph. D. Degree in the relevant discipline.

Assistant Lecturer: Master’s degree with at elast 2 years of teaching experiences and most be on Ph.D. programme. Evidence of publication is an added advantage.

NON-TEACHING STAFF

Librarians: A Degree in Librarianship

Secretaries: National Diploma in office Technology & Management etc.

Laboratory Technologist: B. Sc./HND in Computer Science, Biochemeistry, Microbiology Lab. Tech.

Deputy Registrar, Principal Registrar: Applicants must possess relevant Master’s degree in area of specialization and must have at least 10 years cognate experience in Registry in tertiary institution.
