The Southern Delta University, Ozoro (Formerly Delta State University of Science and Technology) is a public University established by the Act of Delta State House of Assembly on February 23, 2021. The establishment of the University was a direct response of the Government of Delta State to the burning desire for more credible tertiary institutions to address the yearning of the teaming youth of Delta State origin and Nigeria in general desirous of qualitative university education.

The main campus of the institution in Ozoro is approximately 67km from Warri and about 114km from Asaba, the state capital. Its campus at Orerokpe in Okpe Local Government Area, spreads into the commercial and bustling oil city of Warri.

• The candidate for this position must have a Master`s Degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized university and should be able to demonstrate evidence of having interest in research.

Job Title: Lecturer II

Location: Main Campus - Ozoro, Delta

Requirements

• The candidate for this position must possess a Ph.D. Degree from a recognized university and have been Assistant Lecturer in a recognized university.
• The candidate must be able to show evidence of adequate interest in research.
• The possession of a Ph.D. degree in the relevant discipline or MBBS (MBChB) degree from a recognized university also qualifies the candidates to apply for the position.

Job Title: Lecturer I

Location: Main Campus - Ozoro, Delta

Requirements

• The candidate for this position must possess a Ph.D. Degree from a recognized University and have been Lecturer II in a recognized University for at least 2 years.
• The candidate must have reasonable experience in teaching and research, and must show adequate evidence of capability to publish original research articles in reputable national and foreign journals.
• There must be reasonable evidence of the candidate's participation in other academic activities and administration as should be expected of a Lecturer I.

Job Title: Senior Lecturer

Location: Main Campus - Ozoro, Delta

Requirements

• The candidate for this position must possess a Ph.D. Degree from a recognized university and have been Lecturer I for at least 3 years in a recognized university.
• The candidate must be experienced in teaching and research and must have extensively published original research articles in reputable national and foreign journals.
• There must also be reasonable evidence of the candidate's participation in other academic activities and administration as should be expected of a Senior Lecturer.

Job Title: Associate Professor

Location: Main Campus - Ozoro, Delta

Requirements

• The candidate for this position must possess a Ph.D. degree from a recognized university and have been Senior Lecturer for at least 3 years in a recognized university.
• The candidate must be experienced in teaching and research, and must have profusely published original research articles in reputable national and foreign journals.
• There must also be copious evidence of the candidate's participation in other academic activities and administration as should be expected of an Associate Professor.

Job Title: Professor

Location: Orerokpe Campus, Delta

Requirements

• The candidate for this position must possess a Ph.D. Degree from a recognized university and have been Associate Professor in a recognized university.
• The candidate must be experienced in teaching and research, and must have profusely published original research articles in reputable national and foreign journals.
• There must be copious evidence of the candidate's participation in other academic activities and administration as should be expected of a Professor.
• In addition to the above, Professors of any university recognized by the Senate of the Southern Delta University, Ozoro are also eligible to apply.
