Job Title: Lecturer I (Mass Communication)

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess the following:

  • A Ph.D. degree in Mass Communication or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
  • Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable journals consistent with university requirements for the rank of Lecturer I.
  • A minimum of three (3) years post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience in a university or comparable tertiary institution.
  • Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate courses in Mass Communication effectively.
  • Evidence of academic leadership, community service, and participation in departmental or faculty activities will be an added advantage.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., ACSPN, NIPR, APCON) is desirable.

 

Job Title: Senior Lecturer (Mass Communication)

Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess the following:

  • A Ph.D. degree in Mass Communication or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
  • At least three (3) years post-Ph.D. teaching and research experience at the university level.
  • Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals, in line with university appointment requirements.
  • Demonstrated competence in teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Mass Communication.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent research and supervise undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, Advertising Regulatory Council of Nigeria, etc.) will be an added advantage.
  • Strong ICT skills and the ability to use modern teaching and learning technologies.

 

Job Title: Lecturer I (Mass Communication)

  • A Ph.D. degree in Mass Communication or a closely related discipline from a recognized university OR a Master’s degree in Mass Communication with evidence of significant progress toward a Ph.D.
  • At least three (3) years teaching and research experience at the university level or equivalent.
  • Evidence of scholarly publications in reputable, peer-reviewed journals, consistent with the requirements for Lecturer I.
  • Demonstrated competence in teaching undergraduate courses in Mass Communication.
  • Ability to engage in research and contribute to knowledge through publications.
  • Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., NIPR, APCON, ARCON) will be an added advantage.
  • Adequate ICT skills and familiarity with modern teaching and learning methods.

 

Job Title: Senior Lecturer

Location: Abuja (FCT) 

Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must possess the following:

  • A PhD in Criminology, Security Studies, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Evidence of significant teaching, research, and community service experience at the university level.
  • A minimum of six (6) years post-PhD teaching and research experience, or equivalent scholarly experience.
  • A strong record of peer-reviewed publications in reputable local and international journals.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research.
  • Membership of relevant professional and academic bodies will be an added advantage.

 

Job Title: Lecturer II (Criminology & Security Studies)

Location: Abuja (FCT) 
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A PhD in Criminology, Security Studies, or a closely related discipline, or
  • A Master’s degree in Criminology, Security Studies, or a related field with strong evidence of academic and research potential.
  • Evidence of teaching and/or research experience at the university or comparable tertiary institution.
  • At least two (2) scholarly publications in reputable journals or conference proceedings.
  • Membership of relevant professional or academic bodies will be an added advantage.

 

Job Title: Lecturer II (Accounting)

Location: Abuja
Employment Type: Full-time

Qualifications & Experience
Applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • A PhD in Accounting or a closely related discipline, or
  • A Master’s degree in Accounting with demonstrable academic and research potential.
  • Evidence of teaching and/or research experience in a university or comparable tertiary institution.
  • At least two (2) scholarly publications in reputable journals or conference proceedings.
  • Professional qualifications such as ICAN, ANAN, or ACCA will be an added advantage.
