Historically, we are positioned as the first commercially operated smart card manufacturing plant in sub-Saharan Africa with the ability to manufacture Poly-carbonate Cards amongst other card types.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Account Receivable Executive

Location: Oshodi - Isolo, Lagos

Role Responsibilities
Customer Billing and Reconciliation:

• Prepare and issue accurate customer statements, invoices, and bills.
• Reconcile receivables with the general ledger to ensure alignment and accuracy.

Receivable Monitoring and Reporting:

• Prepare monthly accounts receivable reports, aging schedules, and collection forecasts.
• Monitor overdue accounts and follow up to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.

Client Relationship Management:

• Liaise with customers to resolve billing disputes, payment issues, and account discrepancies.
• Maintain positive client relationships while ensuring adherence to payment terms.

Collateral Management:

• Process Advance Payment Guarantees (APGs) and performance bonds related to advance payments.
• Maintain and update the collateral cheque schedule in a timely and accurate manner.

Revenue Recognition:

• Ensure accurate and consistent monthly revenue recognition in line with accounting standards.
• Identify discrepancies and work with relevant teams to make timely corrections.

Debt Management and Collections:

• Champion aggressive collection efforts to minimize bad debt exposure.
• Track, report, and manage bad debts and provide recommendations for write-offs when necessary.

Educational & Professional Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.

Competencies & Skills:

• Strong knowledge of billing, collections, and revenue recognition processes.
• Excellent analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
