Accountant / Account Officer at Swiftluxe Capital Limited

Swiftluxe Digital Company Limited is a forward-thinking technology company delivering innovative financial products and services. We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accountant / Account Officer to support our finance operations, ensure proper recordkeeping, and maintain accurate financial data in compliance with regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will also possess basic administrative experience to support cross-functional needs.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant / Account Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile company bank statements and maintain accurate bookkeeping records
• Conduct analysis of staff and operational expenditures
• Manage accounting software and financial data systems
• Maintain records of sales, purchases, and inventory
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly budgets
• Support administrative duties as needed
• Monitor and manage income and expense accounts
• Prepare and present financial reports, including income statements and expenditure summaries
• Ensure compliance with financial obligations including tax filings and remittances

Requirements and Skills

• Proficiency in accounting software and data entry systems
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Prior experience in both accounting and administrative functions is a plus.
• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial spreadsheets
