Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• The role involves comprehensive financial management, including the preparation, analysis, and review of financial statements, forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to ensure accurate reporting and effective planning.
• The successful candidate will provide strategic financial insights to drive business growth, identify cost-saving opportunities, and contribute to business planning through feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Additionally, they will ensure compliance with statutory requirements, liaise with external auditors, and maintain knowledge of local and international financial regulations.
• This position also requires strong leadership capabilities to mentor and develop the finance team while fostering collaboration across departments to align financial objectives with business goals.

• Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as financial institutions and suppliers.
• Acting as a financial steward for assigned business units
• The candidate will ensure profitability, resource efficiency, and adherence to company policies, while regularly updating the leadership team on performance, opportunities, and challenges.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with ICAN certification required.
• They should have 4–7 years of experience in accounting or financial management.
• Proficiency in financial management software like QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms, along with advanced Excel skills and competency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly PowerPoint, is essential.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, advanced knowledge of financial analysis and modeling techniques, and proven experience in managing large budgets and complex financial transactions are critical.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities are also required to effectively convey financial insights to stakeholders.

Salary
N250,000 - N350,000 Monthly.
