Job Title: Accountant

Job Summary

• Responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, handling inventory-related accounting, and ensuring compliance in a fast-paced FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, bank reconciliations, and cash flow reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure tax compliance and assist with audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and internal controls.
• Monitor inventory movements, cost of sales, and stock valuations.
• Process supplier invoices, payments, and staff reimbursements.
• Manage receivables, follow up on outstanding payments, and reconcile customer accounts.

Key Requirements

• B.Sc. / HND in Accounting or related field.
• 2 – 5 years accounting experience, preferably in FMCG.
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, ERP).
• Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• ICAN certified or ICAN in-view (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, inventory accounting, and cost analysis.

Salary
N200,000 / month
