Job Title: Accountant

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

In this role you will be responsible for handling financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and cost analysis to support business growth.
The accountant should have strong financial expertise, experience in fashion or retail, and the ability to streamline financial processes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain financial records, reports, and statements in line with accounting standards.
Oversee accounts payable/receivable, ensuring timely transactions.
Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts.
Support cost analysis, pricing strategies, and inventory management.
Manage payroll, staff benefits, and financial documentation.
Coordinate audits and ensure financial compliance.
Track purchasing and stock valuation with procurement teams.
Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities.
Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
Conduct reconciliations, expense tracking, and ledger maintenance.
Ensure tax compliance, VAT filings, and regulatory obligations.
Analyze financial performance and provide strategic insights.
