Job Title: Analytical Chemist

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers 

Job Description

• We are seeking for a qualified candidate to join our team of professionals in a high profile Laboratory located in Port Harcourt.

Qualifications and Experience

• Candidates must possess a minimum of M.sc degree in Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry, Environmental Microbiology or Science Laboratory Technology and must have, at least, five years of relevant experience in Management position.
• Must have very good interpersonal and writing skills and must be prepared to work under pressure.
• He/She must have sound knowledge of Analytical processes for Environmental samples and must be conversant with various Standard Analytical methods.
• Must be proficient in the use of computer.
• Possession of a professional certificate will be an added advantage. 
• Candidates must be resourceful and creative.

Summary of Job Profile:

• Be experienced with conducting Environmental field activities.
• Be responsible for calibration of meters and equipment
• Maintain current knowledge of advances in laboratory technology including all the regulations thereto.
• Provide technical support for the laboratory personnel.
• Be very conversant with the use of core Laboratory equipment e.g GCMS, GC-FID, ICP, AAS, Infracal and handheld meters.
• Participate in all HSE activities.

Salary
N100,000 - N150,000 / Month.
