Mapsi Group is a multi-sector enterprise offering services in car rentals and sales, logistics, security, CCTV surveillance, smart home automation, construction, and general contracting and supply.

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Calabar, Cross River
Employment Type: Full-time

Summary

• We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead strategic growth across our diverse business units.
• This is an on-site role.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify new markets, growth areas, industry trends, and potential strategic partnerships
• Research and contact potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and internal teams to align efforts and ensure successful implementation of growth opportunities
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
• Represent Mapsi Group at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums
• Track performance metrics and report on business development outcomes.
• Develop and execute strategies for business growth and new market initiatives
• Prepare proposals and quotes, and move prospects through the sales funnel to close deals
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders

Requirements

• A Master’s Degree (MBA preferred) in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field with a minimum of 5 years experience in business development or a similar role
• OR a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Economics, or related disciplines with at least 8 years of proven experience in a similar capacity
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to travel for official assignments on short notice.
• Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C markets

Compensation

• Monthly salary: NGN250,000.00
• Attractive commission structure based on performance.
