Job Title: Civil Engineer - Road Construction

Location: Akwa Ibom

Responsibilties

Designing roadway layouts and plans using CAD and other design software
Conducting site inspections and surveys to gather data for project planning
Creating detailed cost estimates and project timelines
Preparing technical reports and documentation
Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during construction
Analysing traffic patterns to inform roadway design
Reviewing design plans from subcontractors.
Collaborating with urban planners, environmental scientists, and other engineers
Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Overseeing the construction and maintenance of roadways

Qualifications & Skills

Interested candidates should possess a B.Eng Degree with 3 - 5 years of experience in roadway design and construction
Experience with GIS and other mapping tools
Proficiency in CAD software and other related design tools
Strong understanding of civil engineering principles
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Familiar with environmental impact assessments
Proficiency in advanced roadway design software
Experience with project management software
Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
