Job Title: Experienced Accountant

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Job Summary

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. 
• The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, and will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgerentries.
• Prepare and reconcilefinancial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist with audits and internal control assessments.
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
• Support the Finance Manager with ad-hoc tasks and projects.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Perform financial analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail andaccuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as partof a team.
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, ICAN) is a plus.
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices (IFRS preferred).
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
