Summary
- Athena Institute of Business & Technology (AIBT) is seeking to engage an experienced Contract Facilitator to deliver a specialized training program on Legislative Support & Public Governance.
- The facilitator will equip legislative aides, public servants, and policy professionals with the skills, knowledge, and practical tools to enhance legislative efficiency, policy analysis, and public sector governance.
Job Description
- The facilitator will design and deliver high-quality training sessions focused on legislative support, governance processes, policy implementation, and administrative excellence.
- The role includes guiding participants to apply practical skills in legislative research, drafting, oversight, and public governance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and structure training modules, lesson plans, and session materials.
- Deliver interactive training sessions in-person or virtually.
- Support AIBT in evaluating the program’s effectiveness.
- Submit post-training reports with observations and recommendations.
- Recommend improvements to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide practical exercises, simulations, and case studies.
- Assess participant learning outcomes and provide feedback.
Requirements
Education:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Law, Governance, or related fields.
- Master’s Degree or professional certification in governance, public policy, or legislative studies is desirable.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in legislative support, public governance, policy analysis, or related areas.
- Prior experience facilitating training for government staff or legislative aides is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of applying governance and legislative knowledge in practical contexts.
Other Requirements:
- Availability to deliver scheduled training sessions, both in-person and online.
- Flexibility to adapt sessions to participant needs and learning pace.
- Strong professional reputation and ethical conduct.
- Ability to produce training materials and reports in a timely manner.

- Strong understanding of legislative processes and public governance systems.
- Ability to simplify complex legislative or governance concepts.
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
- Stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
- Excellent facilitation and adult-learning skills.

Remuneration
- Competitive contract fee, based on experience and duration of engagement.
- Payment terms will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
