Federal University Dutse was established in 2011. It is located in the ancient city of Dutse the Jigawa State capital. The University seeks to attract a diverse and international Faculty and Students body to support research and teaching on global issues, and to create academic relationship with many universities and higher educational institutions in Nigeria and across the world.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following academic and non-academic positions (in all departments) below:

 

Job Title: Graduate Assistant

Requirements

• First Degree with First Class

 

Job Title: Assistant Lecturer

Requirements

• Master’s Degree
• LLB/BL and allied medical degrees plus internship
• and recognised professional certificate.

 

Job Title: Lecturer II

Requirements

• Ph.D. or Master’s Degree with relevant experience and professional certifications.
• MBBS or BDS holders with full registration

 

Job Title: Lecturer I

Requirements

• Ph.D. with at least 5 publications
• plus 3 years’ post-qualification experience or
• Master’s Degree with 7 publications and 5 years of cognate experience, an MBBS or BDS holder with Postgraduate fellowship

 

Job Title: Senior Lecturer

Requirements

• Ph.D. or its equivalent with 10 publications and 6 years of relevant experience.

 

Job Title: Associate Professor

Requirements

• Ph.D. or its equivalent with 15 publications
• 9 years cognate experience,
• and must be the lead author in at least 5 publications

 

Job Title: Professor

Requirements

• Ph.D. or its equivalent with 20 publications,
• 12 years’ cognate experience,
• and must be the lead author in at least 10 publications

 

Job Title: Scientist

Requirements

• A good Degree, HND or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science and Science Laboratory Technology.

 

Job Title: Technologist

Requirements

• A good Degree, HND or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science and Science Laboratory Technology.

 

Job Title: Technician

Requirements

• A good Degree, HND or Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science and Science Laboratory Technology

 

Job Title: Administrative Cadre

Job Description

• Non-Academic

Requirements

• A good Degree, HND or Diploma

 

Note:

The phrase Ph.D. and its equivalent; equivalent refers to Medical Postgraduate Fellowship like FWCP, FMCP etc

For all Academic Positions other than Graduate Assistant a Candidate must have a minimum of Second Class Lower Degree apart from the Postgraduate Degree(s)
