Locations: Abuja (FCT) and Lagos

Job Description

• The Finance Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving financial planning, budgeting, and risk management in a fast-growing fintech environment. 
• This role entails providing data-driven insights and ensuring that financial operations align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term financial strategies that align with company objectives.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, ensuring all departments are aligned with financial targets.
• Conduct regular forecasting to anticipate market trends and business needs.
• Oversee the preparation of detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure financial health and guide decision-making.
• Implement and refine processes that drive operational efficiencies.
• Oversee daily cash flow and liquidity management to support ongoing operations.
• Financial reporting of cash flow within the company and give financial advice.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Facilitate cross-departmental collaboration to align financial strategies with business objectives.
• Provide opportunities for training and development to enhance team capabilities.
• Present financial insights and performance trends to senior leadership and board members.
• Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure strict adherence to regulatory requirements and internal control procedures.
• Serve as the primary liaison during internal and external audits.
• Monitor and control costs across the organization, identifying opportunities for savings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or HND in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA is an added advantage.
• CFA is a plus
• Minimum 4 years of experience in financial management, budgeting, and analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and IFRS.
• Experience in preparing financial reports, cash flow management, and variance analysis.
• Knowledge of tax laws, auditing processes, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to lead and mentor finance teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Strong organizational and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and risk management.
• Experience with accounting and financial software like QuickBooks, Odoo, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth.

Salary
N500,000 - N700,000 / Month.
