We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Work mode: Three days onsite and two days offsite

Job Purpose

• To support the financial operations of the company by maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Record-Keeping:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Maintain general ledger accounts and assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.

Compliance & Audit:

• Ensure compliance with relevant tax laws, financial regulations, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit exercises by preparing required documentation.

Payroll & Statutory Remittances:

• Assist in payroll processing and ensure timely remittance of PAYE, pension, and other statutory deductions.

Accounts Payable & Receivable:

• Process supplier invoices and employee expense claims.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure proper cash flow management.

Budgeting & Forecasting:

• Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts.
• Support departmental heads with financial data for planning purposes.

Other Duties:

• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Provide support in improving financial procedures and systems.
• Perform any other finance-related duties as assigned by the Finance Manager or CFO.

Knowledge and Skills

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor`s Degree
• Two to three experience in finance or accounts.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.

Salary
N150,000 - N180,000 monthly net.
