Job Description

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Finance and Account Officer to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts, and reconciliations.
• Oversee cash flow and manage bank accounts to ensure efficient financial operations.

Budgeting and Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, accounts, and reconciliations.
• Oversee cash flow and manage bank accounts to ensure efficient financial operations.

Audit Support:

• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate documentation and addressing inquiries.

Financial Strategy:

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and financial risks.

Accounts Payable and Receivable:

• Process invoices, manage vendor payments, and ensure timely collection of receivables.
• Monitor credit control and resolve outstanding payment issues.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Ensure compliance with local tax laws, regulations, and reporting standards.
• Prepare and file tax returns, including VAT, WHT, and PAYE.

Job Requirements
Educational Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or ICAN are highly preferred.

Skills and Competencies:
Accounting Skills:

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar tools.

Analytical Abilities:

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports.

Communication Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication for financial presentations and collaboration.

Technical Proficiency:

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other financial modeling tools.

Experience:

• 2 - 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related role.
