We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Finance Officer

Location: Lagos 
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities
Core Functions:

• Review all financial transactions posted to the General Ledger on the company’s accounting and transaction systems, including disbursements, repayments, investments, and other inflows.
• Supervise the posting of all transactions by posting officers immediately upon execution.
• Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of departmental records.
• File monthly tax returns promptly.
• Review all posted transactions daily to identify and correct any posting errors.
• Reconcile bank statements monthly and resolve any discrepancies arising from the reconciliation process.
• Support the Head of Finance in preparing Management Accounts and other financial reports.
• Generate and distribute investment advice and maturity schedules to investors periodically.
• Maintain the Company’s Fixed Asset Register.
• Prepare monthly payroll and process payments within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Prepare monthly Tax and Pension remittance schedules and process remittances within defined SLAs.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Finance & Admin.

Education & Experience

• Minimum of BSc or HND in Accounting.
• Relevant professional qualifications (ICAN, ACA, ACCA) are an added advantage.
• Proficient with accounting software and technology.
• High level of proficiency in MS Office, particularly MS Excel.
• Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary
N300,000 - N350,000 monthly.
